How to get from Istanbul-Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW) to Taxim city centre?

Gay Istanbul, The best and the easiest way to get to Taxim square is by catching a Havabus. Havabus is located just outside the airport and should take around 60 – 90 minutes to reach Taksim in the city center. The cost is 18TL = 2.96 USD. You can buy a ticket on the bus, the driver comes to collect the money. Before boarding, it would be a good idea to ask what bus goes to Taxim square.

Where to stay in Istanbul ?

Taxims is my best bet, situated in Beyoğlu in the European part of Istanbul, it is a major tourist and leisure district famed for its restaurants, shops, and hotels, also where the main gay area is.

What to visit ?

Start from Taksim Square and walk down in Istiklal street. Istiklal street is a long road, full of restaurants, shops, cafes, and bars, it will take you to Galata Tower where you can view the whole city. Continue to walk down until you reach Karakoy area, walk over the bridge to Old City where you can visit Egyptian Pazar, Aya Sofia, Sultanahmet, Topkapi Palace, and Sulaymania.

Visit Espressolab Taksim for a coffee, you will find a mix crowd of people, you will spot some people on gay Apps 😉 make sure to go to the rooftop to enjoy the view.

I would recommend going out late for dinner, there are many restaurants, also try the mussels on the street, they are safe to eat, they taste delicious. After midnight head to the Superfabric or the Tekyon Club. Both have good music and shows.
